So, first post in a new blog. Let's see if I can stay true to this one. I've dismally failed to document travels in journal format during multiple previous trips. I journalized for about a week or two in my five month study abroad in Spain and wrote down observations for all of 2 days of my 9 weeks in Australia. This will be the first time I use the blog format, so hopefully I'll do better. This blog will also be doubling as my way of letting parents of the kids I'm coaching know how the trip is going and easing their minds as to the health and condition of their sons. In that way, I almost have to record the first couple weeks in Brazil. For these reasons, I have high hopes for keeping this blog up to date and detailed.
Now, the trip plan. It's not very detailed. In some ways that's on purpose. I grew up with family trips that were meticulously planned by my mom, but my time in Australia taught me that I prefer to not have every minute planned out.
